Ingredients

  • Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour

  • 1tsp baking powder

  • 1tsp baking soda

  • 1 ¼ tsp salt

  • 1 ½ tsp cinnamon powder

  • 1 ¼ tsp nutmeg

  • ¼ tsp ground ginger

  • 1/8 tsp cloves

  • Wet Ingredients
  • 2 eggs

  • 1 ¼ cups brown sugar

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • 2tsp vanilla

  • 1 cup vegetable oil

  • ½ lemon

  • Other Ingredient(s)
  • 2 ½ -3 cups of shredded carrot

Directions

  • In an empty bowl sieve 2 cups of flour and other dry ingredients
  • Combine wet ingredients
  • Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, 1/3 at a time
  • Mix until everything is combined then
  • Add shredded carrot and mix
  • Add the mixture to a baking tin and bake for 30-40 minutes at 350◦F
