MANGO ICECREAM

The mango season is up on us so I am using up all these delicious mangoes to make all sorts of desserts! This mango ice-cream is rich is flavour, very creamy and of course “MANGOey”

Ingredients

  • 160ml condensed milk

  • 2 mangoes (1¼cup mango puree)

  • 1tbsp vanilla extract

  • 250ml whipping cream

Directions

  • Add condensed milk to mango purée and mix well until everything is well combined and it is nice and creamy
  • In a bowl, whip 250ml whipping cream until it gets a bit fluffy
  • Add the creamy mango mixture to the whipped cream and fold it in a little at a time
  • Once fully folded in, add some vanilla extract
  • Mix again then add it to a container.
  • Add small pieces of mango on top if you so desire
  • Add it to the freezer for 5 hrs. or until it is nice and solid
  • Serve and enjoy
