This is the perfect Jamiacan Sunday dessert which might just be as good any other day of the week. Only 4 simple ingredients are needed and homemade is always better!

Jamaican Rum and Raisin IceCream- The perfect Sunday dessert

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whipping cream

  • 1/2 cup raisins

  • ²/8 cups white rum

  • ⅛ cup fruit wine

  • 1tbsp vanilla

  • 1 can condensed milk

Directions

  • To prepare raisins
  • Add wine and rum to raisins and keep in an air tight container for atlesst 24hrs.
  • To Prepare IceCream
  • In a bowl, whip 2 cups of ` chilled whipping or heavy cream and set it to the side after it is fluffy
  • Remove the mixture of rum and fruit wine from raisins
  • Mix the raisins with vanilla extract and condensed milk
  • Add the mixture to the whipping cream a little at a time until it is fully incorporated
  • Add to an air tight container and add in the freezer for atleast 3 hrs or over night for best results
  • Enjoy

Notes

  • The longer you soak the raisins the stronger the alcohol will be in the icecream
  • Not intented for kids!!

  • Whipping Cream should contain atleast 25% fat
