Ingredients
- Shrimp
500g pack Shrimp
1 tsp paprika
2 tsps. Onion powder
2 tsps. Garlic Powder
A sprinkle of black pepper
- Sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup pineapple juice
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup Mirin
¼ cup sugar
3 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- Other Ingredients
Cubed pineapple (quantity depends on your liking)
Cubed Carrot (optional and Quantity depends on your liking)
Sesame Seeds
1 tbsp olive oil
1tbsp finely chopped garlic and ginger
Directions
- In a bowl, season shrimp with onion powder, garlic powder, black and cayenne pepper then rest it to the side
- Prepare the sauce by combining all the listed ingredients for the sauce, mix until all is dissolved then rest it to the side
- Add 1 tbsp olive oil to a pot over medium heat and cook shrimp for about 5 minutes
- Remove the shrimp from the pot and set it aside
- Add the finely chopped garlic and ginger and the cubed pineapple to the pot and sauté for 3 minutes over low heat
- Add the sauce to the pot still over low heat, add cubed pineapple and allow this to simmer for 3 minutes or until the sauce is getting thick
- Add the shrimp to the sauce and allow this to cook in the sauce for an additional 3 minutes
- Add sesame seeds, serve and ENJOY!
